Fame, one of the world's most famous theatrical productions, is at the Tropicana. From the producers of the national tours of Dreamgirls, The Wiz and 42nd St., comes the inspiring story of the kids from New York's school for the performing arts. The production takes audiences through the daily life of star-struck pupils in their quest for success with dance routines and songs, including "Fame." Fame, the Academy Award winning movie, was released in 1980 and was a box-office smash. That was followed by a successful TV show that ran for six seasons, won numerous Emmys and was broadcast in 70 countries. A re-make of the movie is scheduled for a September 2009 release.
